Comprehensive nutrition evaluation and eating disorder screening
Clarity when you’re not sure what comes next.
Our StoryYou may have questions about your relationship with food, eating, or your body but you may not be sure whether you need nutrition therapy, eating disorder treatment, or a different level of support.
A Comprehensive Nutrition & Eating Disorder Evaluation provides a thorough, nutrition-focused assessment to help you better understand what is happening and identify appropriate next steps.
This is a standalone evaluation, not an ongoing nutrition therapy intake. You do not need to commit to working with Embrace Nutrition Counseling after the evaluation.
What Does the Evaluation Include?
Nutrition and eating history
Current eating patterns and nutritional adequacy
Assessment of eating disorder symptoms and behaviors
Relevant medical and nutritional history
Detailed food intake assessment
Clinical observations related to nutrition and eating behaviors
What will I recieve?
Following your evaluation, you will receive a written summary outlining the findings of the assessment.
Depending on your individual needs, this may include:
Nutrition-related diagnostic impressions
Clinical observations from an eating disorder specialized dietitian
Professional opinion regarding identified nutrition and eating concerns
Recommendations for next steps
Recommendations for nutrition, medical, or mental health support
Referrals to appropriate providers or additional levels of care when indicated
